This Deed Made this 17th. day of Nov., A. D. 1936, by Sun-Set Daries, Inc., a corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of North Carolina, with its principal office in Guilford County, North Carolina, party of the first part, to Edith H. Perry of Guilford County and State of North Carolina, party of the second part, Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, in consideration of ($500.00) Five hundred Dollars, to it paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has bargained and sold and by these presents does bargain, sell and convey unto said party of the second part and her heirs, a tract or parcel of land in the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina, in High Point Township, adjoining the lands of Margaret C. Perry, and others and bounded as follows, viz.:

Being Lot Number Twenty-Four (24) of the lands known, platted and of which a map or plat is duly registered in the office of Register of Deeds for Guilford County, North Carolina, in Plat Book No. 5. at page 252, to which plat and/or map reference is hereby had for further and better description, location and size of said lot of land.

Said lot is Ninety feet in front and in rear, and is One hundred and Seventy Five feet deep, and fronts on the Eastern side of Gordon street.

The above land was conveyed to grantor by Henry D. Perry and others See Book [blank] Page [blank]

To Have and to Hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to Edith H. Perry the said party of the second part and her heirs and assigns forever.

And said party of the first part doth covenant that it is seized of said premises in fee and has the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free from incumbrances, and that it will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whomsoever.

In Testimony Whereof, The said party of the first part has caused this deed to be signed in its corporate name by its President and attested by its Secretary, and sealed with its common corporate seal, on the day and year first above written.

STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA---GUILFORD COUNTY

This 17th. day of Nov., A. D. 1936, personally came before me J. Keith Harrison, A Notary Public, of said County and State, Edith H. Perry who being by me duly sworn, says that she knows the common seal of Sun-Set Daries, Inc., a corporation and is acquainted with Henry D. Perry who is President of said corporation, and that she, the said Edith H. Perry, is the Secretary of the said corporation, and saw the said President sign the foregoing instrument, and that she, the said Edith H. Perry Secretary as aforesaid, affixed said seal to said instrument, and that she, the said Edith H. Perry, signed her name in attestation of the execution of said instrument in the presence of said President of said corporation. Let the said deed and this certificate be registered.

Witness my hand and official seal, this the 17th. day of Nov., 1936. J. Keith Harrison Notary Public.

My commission expires the 30 day of June 1938.

STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA---GUILFORD COUNTY

The foregoing certificate of J. Keith Harrison, NP of said County, is adjudged to be correct. Let the said deed and this certificate be registered.
