to the Club that on account of the
numerous bank failures thruout the
State the State Federation was experiencing
financial difficulties. She stated that
with some little assistance from individual
clubs these matters would clean up.

Mrs Tomlinson called for the balance
due on the book being compiled by
Dr Wells. She also gave a very
ointeresting report of the State Executive
meeting held in Raleigh.

The program was in charge of Mrs
S C Clark who had as her subject
"The Personality of Trees".

Mrs Clark awoke in each hearer
a new conciousness of our love &
gratitude for trees. She recalled
tender memories of childhood entwined
around some favorite friendly tree and
quoted from the Doctor to enthrall her listeners.
She gave those lucky enough to be present a
most delightful half hour.

The meeting adjourned and the members
strolled around the lovely garden of the
hostess to discover the first signs of awakening Spring.
