On the morning of November
the eighth the High Point Garden
Club met at the home of Mrs. J. E.
Kirkman. At this meeting the
Mid Week Garden Club was asked to
meet with us to listen to a talk by
Mr. Tillson, local landscape archi-
tect. This talk was a most
interesting one, having for its
subject native plants, vines, etc.,
& Mr. Tillson very willingly
answered any questions put to
him by the club members & thereby
giving us much valuable inform-
ation.

A letter of invitation from
the Mid-Week Garden Club was
read, asking the High Point Garden
Club to meet with them at their
regular meeting of November
sixteenth, to hear a talk by
Mr. Paul Lindley of Greensboro.

This talk was on Shrubs & Mr.
Lindley also answered questions,
thereby making the meeting, which was
