The Executive Committee of The Garden Club met at the home of Mrs. Diffee at 9:45 March 23rd.

Mrs. Coble is unable to accept our invitation to join the Club - hence one vacancy still exists.

A new Garden Club has been organized in High Point and they request to become an auxiliary of ours. The Executive Committee approves this request & refers it to the Club for action.

The Committee appointed to devise some kind of a special gardening feature for this spring has been unable to do anything as two of the members have been prevented from devoting any time to it. The President accordingly appoints Mrs. S. C. Clark and [blank] to take their places.

Mr. W. W. Stirling offers to stop over here on his way North from Florida and give a lecture with illustrations on Bulbs and How to Grow them, as a free demonstration. The Executive Committee approves and requests the President to complete arrangements with him.

The Garden Club met immediately after the meeting of the Executive Comm.

Garden Club as an Auxiliary to ours.

A letter from Mrs. [Brown?] ser of Asheville acknowledging the receipt of our Year Book was read.

A comprehensive and illuminating paper on the Plant ing & Culture of Phlox was read by Miss Effie Cox.

Mrs. A. E. Tate then talked about Asters & their Care and she also gave us a number of interesting points on Gladiolus - illustrated by some corms of phenom inal size which she had brought home from Florida.

Mrs. Herndon gave an excellent and well thought out paper on Delphiniums.

A discussion on Chrysanthemums followed led by Mrs. W. C. Idol & others.

Met with Mrs. S. C. Clark on Apr. 20th. No business was transacted and roll was marked silently.

On May 4 & 11th the Club enjoyed visiting gardens of our members.

1926 On May 25 1926 the Garden Club met with Mrs. H. A. White.

Minutes of the meeting, Apr. 6 with Mrs. Tate were read and also of the meeting with Mrs. S. C. Clark when Mr. Sykes spoke on "Wild Flowers".

Mrs. Tate reported the illness of Mrs. Thompson of Reidsville and accordingly her address is deferred until one of our fall meetings.
