The Elm Street Parent Teacher
Association held its regular monthly
meeting in the school auditorium
on February 29, 1940 with Mrs.
W. L. Edwards, membership chair-
man, presiding. The minutes
of the last meeting were read
and accepted. In her member-
ship report, Mrs. Edwards an-
nounced that in the membership
drive first prize went to Miss
Clegg's grade who was over 100%;
second prize to Mrs. English's
grade who was also over 100%;
and third prize to Mrs. Dunbar's
grade who was just 100%. All
mothers, who were interested in
singing, were urged to join
the Mother-Singers Group.
