March 28, 1939

Preceeding the regular meeting of the
Elm Street Parent Teacher Association
on March 28, 1939, the local orchestra
played several selections. Then the
president, Mrs. Hartley, called the
meeting to order and the minutes of
the last meeting were read and
accepted. The treasurer's report,
showing a deficit of $3.69 was
read and accepted. Mrs. Edwards,
magazine chairman, reported twelve
subscriptions to the Parent Teacher
Magazine.

The program chairman, Mrs.
Schroder, presented a musical program.
There was a group of songs by the
third grades under the direction
of Miss Hazel Welborn, and a group
by the fourth grades under the
direction of Mrs. J. J. Hamlin
