Have-a-Heart Drive which is to be held in
our city on Friday, February 14, 1937. Mrs.
McGehee asked that the drive be
continued for memberships to the Parent
Teacher Association for our school.
Representing the junior Service Council of
Elm Street School Mary Elizabeth Barton,
President of the Council, spoke asking
for the support of the P.T.A. in connection
with the Have-a-Heart Drive in our own
school. She read a poem appropriate to
the Drive.

The secretary read a note of appreciation
to the association from the family of Mr. Dan
R. Schroder, husband of Mrs. Schroder,
principal of Elm Street School, for sympathy
and flowers sent during recent bereavement.

The meeting at this time was turned
over to Mrs. Percy Payne, Founders' Day Chairman.
A group of fourth grade children under the
direction of Mrs. Hamlin sang two songs.
