Dear Rev. Lavely:

This is written in appreciation of
many happy sermons from you. I, for one, have enjoyed
each one of them and shall miss them no end. There
seems to me to be some compelling force there and one
just had to be interested.

Due to the fact that you and my brother
were classmates at school, I've felt a more personal in-
terest, although it was indirect.

I sincerely hope that you and your fam-
ily will be happy in your new surroundings. May my
prayers and good wishes go with you.
