The weather is so terrible, so much
rain. Yes I intend going away
but the weather is not suitable
After the 4th of July - all being well
will try to get to Framingham
hoping to see you, so please dont
send any things more now - As
I could not want to leave
a great deal in my room
I trust no one here - I intend
to put a Yale lock on my
door before I go - I hope
your Mother is fairly well
also yourself. I am so pleased
to hear from you, gives me
a better hold on my life - I go
to hospital Tuesday morning
again, will end some time

This is Sunday, so am going
to mail this letter, then back
again same thing over again
So lonesome you have
my thoughts I think of you
often

I wish you happy days - good health
and Prosperity
My love to you- and your dear Mother
Your as ever Respectfuly
B. Thornton

Mr Keefe is always in such a hurry, when he comes
hardly time even to thank him [?] kind
of him to bring those things and I do
appreciate it, thanking you again

P.S. here is a piece of poetry
I think time
I feel so sad - at times
