and hope you can manage another. By the way
did you ever get that little play Kind Lady"? - do
read it. A lovely couragous woman - but she almost
destroyed herself by being too kind. I must read it
again - I remember it impressed me. Ran in N.Y. for
some time also a movie. Gladys George played it well.
I shall be happy to get the books and shall
take good care of them.

As you say - I do not need medicine. It is an
escape, I guess - and a little part of me dies each
time I realize I have been weak enough to take any. Do
not trouble about my lonliness - it is a natural part
of me - a deep thing - more of a longing than anything for
things beyond my reach. As for people - there are several
here in the house that keep me company - whether I need it
[ort?] or not. I shall try to work next week, it is
best to do something - no matter what.

I believe I shall stay here for the present -
but will notify you of any move - of course. Thank you
again for your visit and encouragement. That [silver?] armour
plate over the [meadow?] - is a lovely [thought?] picture.
I shall be alright - and you must be too. Ever,
[Louelle?]
