This Indenture made this 31st day
of March AD 1860 witneseth that
Jacob Geahring of Fulton County in
the State of Indiana hath put and
places and by these presents with [pan?]
and [?] out his daugther Christiana
Geahring who on the 20th day of October
AD 1860 will be of the age of ten years,
as an apprentice in the family of
[?] [M?dsean] of [?] County of
Fulton to dwell with and serve the said
[?] [M??sean] and learn the
the art of doing household work, until
the 20th day of October 1876 at which
time said apprentice of [?] will
be of the full age of eighteen years
during all which time she shall be
faithful and obedient to said [?]
[M??sean] [soon?] striving to to promote
his welness and the happiness
and welness of his family by all lawful
means, and abstaining from
all habits, practices and acts which
are immoral and which would
tend to the [injury?] or discomfort
of said [M??sean] or his family, she
shall be faithful and industrious &
obedient in his service.
