I have attended meeting all day, to a full jouse. Mr Williams
has really renewed his age. I think he spoke louder than I ever
heard him before. Six infants were presented for baptism, the
parents to all except one couple, very youthful, the children
were, I should judge, three months old or just, several of them
smiled upon the audience. Elisabeth will give you the heads
of the sermon, which I think were very excllent.
I am writing between daylight and dark, and my eyes are still
very weak. I can only give a short account of myself.
If I could banish dear Brookline from my mind, I should be
tolerably happy. I endeavor to feel a perfect reliance on
infinite goodness. May you all be continued in health till
we meet again.

Father has just called for my letter to
send to Mr Clark, who goes early in the morning.
He didnot know of the opportunity till late last evening.
Kiss all the dear children for their Mother.
Remember me to Cousin Nancy & Miss Abbot.
Tell Sarah I shall write to her soon. Love to Polly. I hope
she has good luck making soap.

Father & Mother, Eliza, and the children all send
love to all.

Yours affectionately L Pierce

Will you ask sister Susan, if I left a small bundle
in their sideboard.
