Wednesday March 1. I received your Note 3. I greatly
rejoice to hear you are all well. Dear little Robert:
I long to see you: Do not be unesy about my get-
ting back. Mrs Charles Shepperd, and her sister called
here yesterday. The latter intends going to Roxbury
when I return. She will be plesant company for
me. Your friends here, have wishes much to have
you visit them. Indeed: father is greatly disappoint-
ed, by your determination. I cannot say when
I shall return. I fear that our dear sister Edwards,
will not be well very soon. I shall not think
of leaving here next Tuesday, as I had intended,
unless she is much better.
March 3. Brother Edwards has been to take Mamma
on the hill. Rebecca, took an emetic yesterday, and
is to take another to day, still has a violent pain
in her head. I really think, that Dr Hunt cannot
tell what is the matter with her. When Mamma
returns I shall go, and spend tomorrow, at least.
I wish Polly to see, if the things in the east room
closet, do not want attention.
Remember me to Mrs Stebbins, love to Polly, and the
dear children. From your affectionate L Pierce.
