Yester-Evening your Sloop the Eagle Arrivedhere
fter a very Tempestuous Passage, & has all your Live
Stock well, tho we are affraid by what the Capt Informs
Us that your Corn has Sustain'd Considerable damage, -
however be it so or not, we shall [?] our highest Industry
in Getting the most for it we Can.

We shall Endeavour strictly to follow your Orders of Romit:
tance, & give your Sloop the best Dispatch we are Able,
& also Provided what Freight we Can for her: &since
Your Act for the Duty of Negroes Imported with You
is now Expired, we shall Encourage our Friends here to Close
with the Oportunity by Your Sloop in sendingwhat Slaves
they Intend your Way; tho we much Fear any great Suc:
ces, by Reason of its being so very Early yet; & we cant
Pretend to Ship much Rum or Sugar (Unless a very Un:
expected fall of those Species should happen) by Reason
our Employers with you have Stinted Us to so low a Price.
The Character of your Pork will very much assist ye Sale,
In the whole we shall heartily Attach your Interest, &
Strive to to Signalize our selves of Unexceptionable Integrity.
