love yy should rejoyce & be glad. Phil. 3.3. Ne-
ver any had friend in whose company & friend-
ship yy had greater cause to rejoyce, them be-
lievers have in Christ. Ps. 42.4.
3. Feed heartily upon ye provision Christ sets be-
fore you. By faith take in & apply to your selves
all ye good things of ye covenant, all the benefits
& blessings of Christs redemption. Now make all
your own at Christs proffer & bidding. The more
largely you feed, ye welcomer you are to Christ
Believe for ye pardon of all sin, subduing of all iniqui-
ty, for quickning, spiritual strength & consolation,
for grace & glory.
4. Go away thankfull. Ps. 63. 3, 4, 5. If Haman went
home rejoicing yt he had been admitted to ye banquet
with king Ahasuerus & queen Esther, how much more
cause hath ye believer to rejoyce yt hath been admitted
to the royal banquet of the king of heaven.
5. Live fruitfully afterward. If he provide for &
keep you so well, be sure to do his work to at-
tend his service carefully & completely.
[Mot.?}.1. Christ is in good earnest with you. His in-
vitations are no complements, but real expres-
sions of his heart.
2. All things are ready. Here is nothing wanting
that may satisfy & fill your souls. Mat. 22.4.
Here is no lack of spiritual & soul provision.
3. If you feed not upon this provision you will
starve. Husks won't keep you alive long, if you
feed not on this bread in your father's house you
will perish for hunger.
4. Feed well on this food & you will live for ever
such as live upon this provision will never dy
