yea, thô there be some mixtures of infirmity
imperfection & sin in them, yet as a hungry
man yt hath gotten a thing which he loves
takes all down together, without nauseating it
because not refined as it should be, so Christ
expresses himselfe, I have eaten my honey-comb
with my honey &c:

(4) Christ's gracious invitation to Believers to
feast with him. To delight themselves in his
presence & comunion & to take in plentifully
of the soul refreshing-blessings of his purchase
'Eat, O friends, drink yea drink abundantly, O
'beloved.

Doc. The Lord Jesus graciously invites believers as
his beloved friends to improve ye opportunityes of
his presence for the taking in & delighting them-
selves abundantly with ye blessed fruits & benefits
of his Redemption.

1. Prop. There are blessed fruits & benefits of Xs
Redemption. Christ in ye accomplishing of ye
great work of Redemption hath provided
largely for lost men & women, for sin-
ners. He came into the world upon the
sinners errand. 1 Tim 1.15. even the lost
sinner. Mat. 18.11, the sinner yt is sick unto
death by means of his sin. Mark 2.17. The
good he purchased was for them, he need-
ed not for himselfe. And there are blessed
fruits & benefits of his purchase which are
to be freely bestowed upon ye children of men.
There is plenteous redemption, free pardon
& forgiveness of sin. Psal. 130.4, 7. Eph. 1.7.
justification, acceptance, acquittance from con-
demnation. Rom. 3.24. Eph. 1.6. Rom. 8.1. Heal-
ing & purging of the soul. Revel. 1.5. Right of
sonship to God. Gal. 4.5. Comunication of the
holy Spirit. Joh. 14.16. Conformity to ye image
& will of God, participation of ye divine nature
2 Pet. 1.4. fulnes of grace & ye exercise of it
quickning & comfort, taster of divine love,
soul-satisfaction & joy in the gracious influen-
ces of ye Spirit.
