I received your favor of 27th Currency & note the Contents/inclosing your
Letter for Bristol which I put into Capt. Blakes Bagg for London who sails to
Morron. The price of oil is not yet broke when it is will advise you thereof by
a London price currency of 12th April Brown Therma Cati Oil was L20
White L21 Whale L17. Liver L16@L17 Says nothing of drained Capt. Folger. I am
told sold a parcell of White Therma Cati Oil last Saturdat to a transient
purchaser at L170. Old Tenor & (?) none of the stated purchasers would
give that. I have heard nothing from Capt. Noble since I rec'd your last
instructions which should have pursued had there been time to have done
it in season for the Count if he does not pay the order, in a very short
time Mr. Fitch will do the necessary. I have sent Watts & Mofs account
by Gregory Townsend Esq. Collector of Louis bring &given him the order,
on Mr. Mofs who only is on the spot for what is due from them to

I received your favor of 2 d Currency Capt. Smith with Invoice &
Bill Lading for Anchors which came fate to hand Uof 20(?) Capt. Wimble indos?
Bill Lading for 14 Anchors which arriv'd this morning I note what you say
of the Freight of the pigg iron to London am persuaded none can be Shipt
from hence at 3/1 (?) Ton we have so much (?) ash no Vofsell can
be at a Lofs for Frieght suitable to put them into a proper trim we have
seldom any demand for anchors of 12 at Vat (?) present very little for any
nor any call for pigg Iron. I am

Venton order on Capt. John Hanson for L300 York Curr 7 which I return you
inclos'd herein he having been gone from hence to New York five or Six Days
I wrote you by him to which please to be refer'd. what he ow'd me the 2500 Dollars
I am to pay you the Duty Wortlidge? Bill & other charges with what
I have engag'd for besides leaves nothing in my hands. I am
