P.S. Mr. Alexander has not yet found the Rects. please to put him in mind of them
& the Rect. for 9 Dollars was Dated the 4th Novr. & not the 22d } 1765
as Noted by mistake at the bottom of the Indorsment on your Bond to Saml.
Hart which you'l please to rectify that it may agree with the Rects. if they should be
found. the mistake happen'd by my Clerks taking off the dates wrong from the Cash
Book at the time I made the Indorsement

Wm. Hoskins's order (it having been due Sometime) otherwise he Shall put
it in suit, of which at his request I give you this timely notice to prevent
a needless Charge. he expects youl discharge the order in Cash not thinking
himself hold to take up with Lumber as it was not Tendered when due
nor what he expected when he consented to take the order of Mr. Hoskins
your Speedy answer will oblige Your huml. Servt.

Letters for England which shall forward P first Conveyance, but it may
be a fortnight before any Vessell sails from hence for any part of England.
I shall agreeable to your orders wait to know the Event of the Stamp
Act before I put Capt. Nobles affair in suit, unless you otherwise order &
in the mean time will write him, & inform him of your intention of
putting th eprder in suit. I am your most huml. Servant

nearest prices of the Articles you wrote for. (but at this Season of the Year
no dependance is to be made on them). Pork £22.10/, Beef none at market
that put up here Sells at £18. Wheat 35/. Corn 20/@ 22/6. Rye 25/. the three
last Articles are priz'd as the last Sold, there being none now at market. Hoggs
