refusal of a parcell expected from an out port which I shall purchase
on our joynt acco.tt if within your limitations, had you been so lucky
as to have given your orders for purchasing 3 weeks or a month sooner
something might have been done to purpose, I am Your hum.l Serv.t

the 66 Boxes Candles sent me the 3.d Instt. my last informd you that 52
Boxes of them were sold, since which have promisd 2 more, may not be
amiss to have another parcell at market, agreeable to your desire I now
send you 15 C Hemp P Mr. Dexter Brown, whose receipt is inclos'd Cost
19 Old Tenor P Ct. to be paid in 3 or 4 months. Cost as at foot £38.19/Lmo.
& Charg'd to your Accott. Currtt. one the persons who has the directions of the money
under my care is expected in a few days, when shall be able to resolve you
whether you can depend on me for any & how much, it is likely you may
have the sum you now mention, the only difficulty I can foresee is that
they can have 7 P Ct. Interest at New York, if that is agreed to by you,
believe you may depend on it, unless it be promis'd before, I am Your huml. Servant
