acceptance of my draft advis'd you of 8th Aug.t last for which am oblig'd, as
also for the Consignment of the 10 Casks Linseed Oil & Capt. Smith which
came safe to hand & sold immediately at 4/8 P [per] Gall.o Lm.o being the most
I could obtain for it & is 8.d more then any has been sold for here P Quantity
for some time past being at present a scarce article, Inclos'd is Sales there
of neat proceeds £107.14.2 Lm.o at also [1.tt & 2?] of John Freares
draft No. 113 my fav.r on John Biggin & Anthony Bacon Esq.rs & 6.0 for
£88.6.4 Sterling at 30 days sight dated Halifax 14th Sepr. 1765. Exchange
at 33 1/3 PCt. [percent] amounting to £117.5 1/4 Lmo. both noted in Accott. with you &
over runs the Oil £10.0 11/4 which if you have occasion to Ship anything
more to my Care may lye toward the proceeds thereof otherwise youl oblige
me by a draft for 4e same on some person here, should sent a Bill for the neat sum
byt could not procure one, when am advis'd of your receiving 1st & 2d Bills
will then forward the 3d shall at all times with pleasure receive & execute
