Dear Brother 190 Boston Octo.r 7th 1765
The above is copy of M.r Nathaniel Grants Letter, to which refer you,
shall keep the Bills by me till I see you, & think it best not to take the money
for them till we hear of their being paid to prevent our subjecting ourselves to
damage should they be protested, please to inform the Exchange at York, if
better then at this place they may be sold there our Exchance is 33/3
Expecting you every day have [deferd?] purchasing the Cordage, [Sails?] Iron [&?]
for you [Sloop?], which aught to be on the [upot?] before Winter setts in, that you
may be in readiness to leave the River as soon as it breaks up in the Spring,
please to inform whether I am to provide for her this Fall. meeting with a
Bargain of [Hemp?], have engagd that. have sold my interest in Wimble's
[Sloop?] to good advantage, only on Acco.tt of the dullness of Business between
this place & New York for so large a Vessell, but expect to be concernd in one
that is [bess?]. we are on the look out for you every day. M.rs Lloyd joins

short of your Ballance when I receive the payments for the Logwood what
little remains will then be remitted you without delay, Brown Sugars
are very scarce, those that are good & suitable for retailing wou'd fetch
[pound sign]17 to [pound sign]18 quick, I am your most hum.l serv.

such Sugars as you had here last year would sell very quick at 48/[Lm.?]
