These in point of Time ought to have been Carr[ie]d to my Credit
before the Acco[un]t Curr[en]t was Clos'd & would have considerably
Lessen'd my Balla[nce] & indeed I should have had Cash in your
hands, for in that Balla[nce] was included the Cost of all my Goods,
w[hi]ch at a common Credit were not due but I do not mean to
be over particular, I shall always be Remitting you, & believe
shall make as punctual Remittances as you can Expect, you
will be mindfull to Credit me these omissions; & pray be so
kind as by the Spring ships to send me my Acco[un]tt Curr[en]tt &
Beg I may have it every Spring & Fall.-

You will please to be mindfull to Credit my Acco[un]tt with one half
the Freight of Brig[antin]e Industry Bunker Mas[te]r as also with one
half produce of Cargo shipt by Paul Bunker of w[hi]ch I wrote
you some time ago. - Should be Glad you would as timely as
you can always forward me Acco[un]tt Sales of Cargoes &c. ~

I hope Marshall & Scott are both with you in the Latter-
went passenger my particular Freind, Mr Wm Bowes, I hope
you have seen him 'eer this, I must Repeat my Desires of your
Notice & Civilities to him, w[hi]ch I doubt not you will afford him,
pray my Respects to him. Do write me as often as you can
the State of things with you, & your opinion as to the price of
oyl Bone & Pott ashes; I shall have a la^rge Quantity of Pott ashes
in the Spring, hope the Price will keep up. -

In my hurry by Scott I omitted Inclosing the Letter to
K & B with the State of Sewall & Lewis Affairs w[hi]ch I now Inclose,
& pray you will Deliver to your J B, with my Best respects, I have
Drawn a Bill on you in fav[ou]r of Kilby & Barnard for Balla[nce]
of that Acco[un]tt being £1717.6/ Sterl[in]g at 60 Days N47 w[hi]ch I must
pray you will duly honour, I have Charg'd a Commiss[io]n on
that Acco[un]tt w[hi]ch if Mr Barnard & you should think too high,
I will do as you Judge Right, tho' it has been attended with
an infinite deal of Trouble if it should Occasion your being in
advance for me, w[hi]ch I hope will not be the Case, I will place
Cash in yo[u]r hands as soon as possible, & daily Expect Bills w[hi]ch
I have been long Promis'd, & will Remitt as fast as I can. ~

I am to Desire you will please to make Insurance
for me to the Amo[unt] of £1000 Sterl[in]g, on oyl, Pott ashes, & Whale Bone
Shipt for my own Acco[un]tt on board the Ship Pratt Jona Freeman
mas[te]r at & from Boston to London, she will sail in about Three
weeks. -

I imagine the Brig[antin]e Harrison will be the first Vessell here,
if the Stamp Act be Repeal'd you will have goods enough
to Load Marshall & Scott, tho' they will be here late, I will
Endeavour to have oyl ready for them. -
