[Since] my last, Capt Folger is arrivd here, & we have Convers'd on
the subject of which I sent you Copy of my Letter to him, & it proves
to be entirely a misrepresentation of some without any foundation
so that you will please to take no notice of that Letter. I have not
yet settled with him, & that matter for the present I beleive must
Subside ~

In case you should send the Liberty to Lisbon or Newcastle
I beg you would not fail to keep her insur'd at & from the several
ports to this place. at Least £1500 St[erlin]g on the Ship. this do note ~

I have been so Excessively Busy since Scott sail'd that
I must once more & for the last time on this Account ask your
pardon that I am not now more Explicit. I shall now sett my
self down as fast as I can to Compleat our Accounts & forward
by Jacobson who will sail in 14 days. you must Excuse ^me till then. ~

Should Capt Smith want a little Money & you judge it necessary,
you will please to Supply him & charge the Ship -

I hope Marshall is safe with you & that his Cargo met a
good Markett, I wish he may be early here. Scott has had a fine
time, he sail'd 8th Instant. ~

There is on board Smith 40 Cask of Head matter as P[er]
Invoice which you will please get passd. ~

I referr the Concern of this Ship to your prudent managem[en]t
I shall write you largely by Jacobson, till when you must Excuse
my adding save that I am with unfeigned regards ~
