Yes, I recieved a bu. of
plums about as large as
grapes from Frank through
the Oil and Imperial Grease
Co. Loras. Glad to have them.
I canned 16 qt. and made some jell and plum butter
and gave a quart to Lucretia
and took two quarts to Archie's
and I used 10 lb. sugar and burned up all my coal
and done milk out for
days. I have made some
peach jell and apple butter
and have # or 20 quarts of tomatoes,
canned. I received a letter
from Aunt Mary & Amy last
week. They are well. Fruit
is abundant and cheap.
