She is dismisssed at half past five every eve, excepting ____she works till 10 o'clock. Last night, she stayed all night at Archie's and when she returned this eve., I will tell you how they are. I have just returned from Pear Street Merch, there display for the ton of coal I got last week. They sent us for the, ____, this morning. And oh, what would I have done had you not sent me the ten dollars for I have been to, ____, to go to see Sarah and Archie at times of late. I will give five

3 to my groceryman this eve. when he delivers my groceries. Yes, I recieved a bu. of plums about as large as grapes from Frank through the Oil and Imperial Grease Co. Loras. Glad to have them. I canned 16 qt. and made some jell and plum butter and gave a quart to Lucretia and took two quarts to Archie's and I used 10 lb. sugar and burned up all my coal and done milk out for days. I have made some peach jell and apple butter and have # or 20 quarts of tomatoes, canned. I received a letter from Aunt Mary & Amy last week. They are well. Fruit is abundant and cheap.

4 And they would like to have me visit them. I wrote yesterday to send me pickels for canning and, ___ lbs of butter and anything else they could spare. Apples are 10c per bu. Tomatoes going to waste and found sum. Sade is keeping, A___, as Royal King has gone out of the business long ago. They take all the travelers and no one to help her but Amy. Isaac, I invite them long ago and begged of Abe to send him money, as he was out of work, and his household goods were all mortgaged & they had to move every month. Abe thinks now of letting him move on the farm and wants his

5 address. I told him of your's and Archie's call on them, but could not give them the address. Lonnie called on Monday morning and delivered another package from Katie. He said she was there on Sunday but, they were not at home. She sent a large bundle of washing and I have it done and a part of the ironing. She spends all day Sunday, few weeks ago with us. She gave one a dollar to pay for washing, in advance, and it helped
