Edie Ma says she was going to stop corresponding with me unless, I told her where Pa was and that I, will not , do. She must have a lot of love for me, , yet . She writes me about once a month. Pa & I knew of Katie's sickness. When she first went to the hos. and she wrote Pa every week & Pa kept me posted in regards to her improving & more. He writes twice a week all the time. beautiful waist I am delighted with, for you know I always thought it beautiful and the candy and cakes I enjoy so much. 3 that I did not have enough to eat, and I said ((no but they all ask me in every letter they write if I have enough but I never answer it.)) she even said Jennie what does your sister do that she can afford to send you such things. to her Mama this' week to have two good cooks, for we would only be there about three days, and we was, going to eat night and day. They keep one girl cook all the time any way. Izzie is going to get a dress as soon as she gets home and have it made in about two or three days, and then we are going to Knoxville & Nashville Tenn O! We are going to have a fine time all right. Izzie wrote to her mother today to send her a bushel of apples and a fried chicken right away she will get it to I have got my new shirt that Pa sent me completed today. I done every stitch and cutting & every thing all myself and it is done good to or if it is not we have to rip it out and do it over. I will commence the waist
