Dear friend:

And so you are back at Pittsburg. Your card announcing this fact reached me Saturday. As you gave me no address, I will address this to Uncle Tom's and I suppose it will reach you. I mailed a little booklet of tornado views to your Philadelphia address and I suppose it has been forwarded to you.

I am sorry that you did not approve of my showing the

paper weight to Uncle Tom and Laura and hope that you will not shake me for it when I get to Pitt., at least that you will not shake me very hard.

And so you have given up the idea of learning to ride a bike that is too bad - we might have had a few spins together. I don't think I will take my [whirl?] with me as it would be in the way at Washington - if I was going to spend the entire time in Pittsburg it would probably be a pleasure to have it with me. Do you know what it costs to rent one there? I thought I

might bring my bicycle clothes and take a ride with Joe.

Sunday before last I started from the Church with the Pres. of our Epworth League Society for Forest Park, and on the way we overtook the Pres. of the Church Board of Trustees so we made quite a Methodist Cycling Club. We had a splendid ride, good roads nearly all the way and when I reached home my cylometer showed that during the two hours and a half I had been riding I covered 24 miles. The previous Sunday I had for a companion one of the young

ladies of our church and we made a tour of a portion of the tornado district.

I do not think I shall go Philadelphia. I have decided that I will want to be Washington about five days and to go Phila. would cut my stay in Pittsburg too short. I expect to leave here on the morning of July 7th on the B and O special train that will carry the St. Louis members of the C. E. to Washington and will probably leave Washington for Pittsburg about the 13th.
