Dear loved ones at home:

I recived your most kind and loving letter this eve. and was glad to hear from you all and to hear you were all well. I'm s[t]ill well and working hard. Have not lost any time so far this week.

She, [metural?], has come, so there will be lots of work for a little while, anyway. Will soon have one house plastered, so will soon be at finishing.

If I had of known that the lumber had not of been here when I got back here, I would of stayed home a few days longer, but as it was, I did not lose any time. Mr. Frances is the man's name. He has not got his house done yet, been

2) bothered about getting lumber to finish it, but expect to have it done, so to move the first of next week, so you can send those boxes just as soon as you get the time.

My, I wish you all could come up here soon, but I guess it will be impossible for some time, yet. Mr Inostrum, (I guess that is spelled right), is the man's name that has got the contract, I think, for the civic center.

My those sweet letters I do get from from my sweethearts. I wish I could see them tonight. I have not been out any yet to look for a lot. I don't get time, but will try and get out Sunday if it don't rain.

It looks ike rain again tonight. I hope it won't, but I guess it would make tree planting last longer if it does rain.

3) I will try and see what I can do to see Mr. Servis and have everything fixed up just as soon as I can, I don't feel like laying off to do it, but guess I will half to so to see what I will half to do.

Well, I don't think of any more to wright, so will try and do better next time.
