Thursday Dear Dedie: Your card came and another today. So glad you can come next week. We will have no one (underlined) here for Xmas. We all want you to come so as to be here Xmas morning. We will get the little tree readythe night before and have the gifts, all enjoy it together. Please cut out, (underlined), the presents. I could, (underlined), make anything and do not want you to give us anything. We will have just a good time together. I have had a busy summer & fall & did not come to see "cause I couldn't.
Pa & Ma & our Ministers (Y) family here today to chicken dinner. Now say you'll come. So sorry to hear Mrs. C's condition. Will Daddy come too? Auntie will have the grill today
