Dear Madam: -

Re 1,050,412

I wrote you under date of July 14th regarding premium on this policy, which was due last June, and has not yet been paid. It would give me a great deal of pleasure if you would take the time to drop me a line to let me know just the reason why you are not keeping up this policy. If it is a matter of temporary difficulty in meeting the premium, I beg to advise you that we would be glad to consider re-instating the policy if you are in good health, as soon as you are in position to take care of the premium.

If there is anything about the policy which you do not like, or any change you desire made in it, if you will write me as to what the difficulty is, I will be glad to give you all the information I can regarding it.

Yours truly, [signature, presumably E. E. Scott] Cashier.
