up 9³⁰ am. At Ch at 11 am and found too big a crowd to get ch so I had to stand during the services and until conm'n. service. [?] played the organ and lost her book. Ch [?] out till 2 pm. Then to CH and [Ellvina?] and home at 3⁰⁰ PM and found [Connie?] at dinner. After dinner she and I went to the cemetery and were out there about 2 hours. [Were?] at [Quartermaster?] Hq after supper at 6 PM and then to CH and met a M^r [?] and watched but [no?] [orch?]. At [inserted]such [at?][/inserted] leave at 9²⁰ walked [th?] and [then? there? ?] and [?] and read till midnight

Up 9. am. Ch. at 9⁴⁵ am. [? ?] 100 [? ?] [? ?] and I was writing nearly all day on [9v?] and to dinner at 1³⁰ and on a bank and back to my of fice at 3³⁰ PM and again on [? 9v?] at 6 up town and here [?] for dulces. he found none - so [met?] up [? ?] of [?] and expressed it at 7 PM and then back to my office and finished [9v? ?] and at 7⁴⁰ out to R. I. and recorded it. Then to [Wh El Rish?] and August talked till 9³⁰ at [? with ? ? ?] and then to my office and worked until after midnight

Up 8 am office at 9³⁰ and busy making up my books for government accts all the morning To dinner at 1³⁰ - 2³⁰ [?] and then down by my office - and to CH and at work till 3³⁰ when Mr Pickens came and I went with him to [Erelbrooks?] and took affidavits of [Erelbrook?] and D [Dreebus?] to [?] [? ?] Then back to my office and finished [?] 96 and to supper 7³⁰ PM {and we [?] 3 [?] at 7³⁰ after getting dulces and pkg them for expressing tomorrow. Augusts and ^PO 9³⁰ my office at 10 am [? ?] - very heavy rain 10-11³⁰ and home and to bed 1 am

awoke at 7am Up at 8 am and at office 9¹⁵ and Clt at 9³⁰ McNamara came to see me about [? lot?] at office ([read?] 101 and 102) and at work on costs all he morning and to dinner 1³⁰ - 2³⁰ pm and back to my office and hard at work on costs - watched [?] to come over tomorrow afternoon. Geo Parker came in PM for a few moments Wrote no. 97. after [5?] PM and mailed it on R I at 7⁴⁵ Then to Cafe and had [? ? ?] Then to Augusts till 9³⁰ and [?] 00 and checked Ron banks unti nearly 1 PM and [? anotated?]

Awoke at 7 am but did not get up until 8 am at [?] at 9¹⁵ and Clt at 9³⁰and at work on cost [? ?] [?] I [? ?] for him To dinner at 1²⁰ 2³⁰ PM. and found mice had eaten a hole in my coat at my [mice?] every day [cooking?] such of clothes. Back to office at 3 PM and shortly after [? Le...?] came and staid [?] we looking over accts until after 5 PM and then I finished No 98 and mailed it at 7⁴⁰ on R. I. train and then to cafe. and had Chili con carne for supper. Augusts at 8⁴⁵ 10 PM and [? on Ron? books?] till 12¹⁵
