Beautiful Spring day

Saturday, February 6, 1897

Up 8 am office 930
am. Read papers. Mr
Quigg came with his
letter to Patterson and then
came Kerr and sat
me out. Manchester
also came at 1130 R
came and told me what
he had received from his safe
and we had an interview
Then I went to PO and
found registered letter
from Walter Guiers and
went into Clerks office and
wrote Vh all about wht
Bea had said. To dinner
at 130 and office at 230
pm and then to bank
and then to court house and
had old furniture moved into
my office and having recd
no. 23 began no. 36 in reply
thereto and wrote until 6 pm
then office and supper 7 pm
