OFFICE OF W. J. GILVIN, City Assessor and Collector.
Fort Worth, Texas, 2-23 1904
To the honorable Mayor and City Council City of Fort Worth, Txas
Gentlemen:
Attached you will find statement of taxes due against my home, lot 18, block 147 City of Ft. Worth.
You will see from attached statement that the place was valued at $700 for the years 1893 to 1899, which was more than the place was worth.
I, therefore, petition your honorable body for a reduction in valuation for the above years, from $700 valuation to $500 valuation for each year, on said lot.
