GENERAL SUPPLY & CONSTRUCTION CO.
PHONE 4005 FORT WORTH, TEXAS NOV. 18, 1907.
Hon. the Mayor and Board of Commissioners, Fort Worth, Texas
Gentlemen:- Due to clerical oversight, our bid of 15th on paving, neglected to explicitly statePavement of five inches of concrete was included in the $2.10 price. bid. The price was fully intended to cover the excavation. The price was fully intended to cover the excavation. As there were no formal typewritten "bidding blanks", (as mentioned in specifications)upon which to make out bids, as is customary, the oversight was not unnatural. We most earnestly request, that since lack of certified check requirements, bidding blanks ect. was accepted, "now for then". We stand ready to back our figures by check or bond.
Respectfully, General Supply & Const Co - by John B. Hawley V. P. -
