To The Mayor & Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth,
City.

Gentlemen-:

Now comes O. K. Shannon and R. G. Armstrong Jr., and
represent to your honorable body:

First, that they are the owners and the only owners
of Block F of McAnulty & Nye's subdivision of Block 29 o fthe
Williams Welch survey. That said block is bounded on the North by
Morphy St. and on the east by Welch St. and on the south by Myrtle
St. and on the west by 8th Ave.; that said block of land, from the
North to the South is 350 ft and that said block from east to west
is 2I0 ft; that said propery, as originally platted, left a I10 ft
alley running through the centre from north to south;that the owners
above mentioned are the only owners of said property and that it
is their desire to re-plat said property and to close said alley.

Wherefore they pray that your honorable body give them
permission to close said alley and that the proper officer be
authorized and instructed to execute the necessary papers therefor.

That [sd.?] 10 ft. alley is not in line with any
other ally in that part of the City. That all
alleys south of sd. Block F, are 20 foot alleys;
and that all lots in eighth st. and south of sd.
block are 140 ft deep. That it is the desire
of the owners is report sd. block so is to
give the lot in eight st. [we?] a depth of 160 ft.

I respectfully recommend the petitioners request be
granted.
