WHEREAS it appears from the minutes of the City Council
that a certain parcel of real property was acquired by the City
of Fort Worth by purchase from August Males,according to the deed
of conveyance filed June 12,1906 in the office of the County Clerk
of Tarrant,County,Texas,and recorded in Book 227,page 617 of
the deed records of Tarrant County,Texas,which said property is
described as follows, to-wit:

A part of Block W in Bellevue Hill Addition to the City
of Fort Worth,Tarrant County,Texas, beginning at a point in the
East line of Hemphill Street 80 feet North of the S.W. corner of
said block; thence South with the West line of said block and the
East line of Hemphill Street 60 feet; thence East with the South
line of said block 210 feet; thence North parallel with the
East line of Hemphill Street 80 feet; thence West parallel with
the North boundary line of said block 210 feet to the place of
beginning.

And Whereas said land was acquired by the said City of
Fort Worth for the purpose of opening up and extending Bois d'Arc.
Street in said city eastward across Hemphill to Granger Street
so as to form a street thirty- feet in width therefor; and whereas
said thirty feet consists of the South thirty feet of said strip
of land hereinbefore described;

And Whereas the said parcel of land so acquired by the
said city is 80 feet in width, and after setting apart said South
thirty feet thereof for said street purposes, there is yet left
a surplus of fifty feet off the North part of said parcel of land;

Now,Therefore,Be It Resolved by the Board of Commissioners
that said North fifty feet of said parcel of land be offered for
sale by the Commissioner of Finance and Revenue,and in the event
of a proposition for purchase, that said proposition be reported
by him to the Board of Commissioners for their approval and de-
temination.
