Hon. Mayor, and Board of Aldermen. City.

Gentlemen.

In accordance with your instructions his Honor Mayor Harris, and My-self did on this the I2th day of March I907 destroy by fire the following city of Fort Worth bonds of the denomination of $Iooo,on each, said bonds were received by the City Secretary from the City Treasurer.

First Series Refunding 4% Bonds dated July Ist I9oI due July Ist I94I.

6 Bonds Numbers 296 to 301 inclusive $6,ooo,oo.

To the Honorable Mayor and City Council, City of Fort Worth,

Gents:-

The attached receipt for $5.00, dated March 26th,1907, rent of Auditorium of the City Hall, is in payment for the use of the Hall for a Mass Meeting of the Citizens of Fort Worth to express themselves on the advisability of a Local Option Election for Tarrant County. We would respectfully request your Honorable body to return said sum to us, as there was no financial or special interest involved, the meeting being held for the general wellfare of the whole public of Fort Worth.
