June 3, 1904.
Honorable Mayor and Councilmen, City of Fort Worth.
Gentlemen:
I beg to advise you that I have recently purchased lot eight in block eight in the Hirshfield Addition, and wish to improve the same by erecting a substantial building thereon, and that by a recent survey, made by the City Engineer, Mr. J. B. Hawley, he claims that there is a small sharp point of Hyde Park, projecting slightly into the south side of my lot. Inasmuch as the ground covered by this projection is of no particular value to the City, and the projection makes an awkward angle in my property, I should like to exchange the same number of square foot out of my lot, at a point adjoining the City's property, a little further east in said lot, for the protion of my lot covered by the projecting lines as above mentioned, in order to enable me to build my wall on a straight line
As I desire to make the proposed improvements at as early a date as possible, I beg your immediate consideration of this petition.
A plat of the grounds in question, recently made by your City Engineer, accompanies this.
Yours very respectfully,
Thos. S. Weaver by E. E. Fosdick Agent
