FORT WORTH, TEXAS, January 13, 1906.

Mr. James H. Maddox, Chief of Police,
Fort Worth, Texas.

Dear Sir:

The city attorney has been instructed by the council through the
street and alley committee to take such steps as may be necessary to re-
quire any person obstructing the following described street to remove
the obstruction and leave the street open for such improvement as may
be necessary, the street being the 30 foot street lying to the north of
Block 25 of Edwards Heirs Addition.

I would be pleased if you would investigate the condition and see
if the street is obstructed, and if it is to at once report to me in
case you find that you cannot without further action upon my part prevent
obstruction of the said street.

Your early attention will greatly oblige,

Yours truly,
