To the Honorable Mayor and City Council,
Fort Worth, Texas,

Gentlemen:-

1,A.B.Curtis,Assistant City Attorney Delin-
quent Tax Department hereby submit to your Honorable Body the following4
proposition: that the said city of Fort Worth allow me for my services
in the collection of delinquent taxes ten per cent of all delinquent
tax collections of every character collected by said city for the
year 1903 and previous years and one per cent of all such delinquent
tax collections for the year 1904;save and except certain taxes due said
city on the Ball estate, upon which suit has already been filed by the
City Attorney of said city,and for the collection of which I shall
receive nothing. That this contract take effect from the 1st. day of
March,1906 and continue upon the terms set out for the period of
one year therefrom.

That beginning with the 1st.day of March,1907 and continuing for
the period of one year therefrom,I be allowed for my services as above
set out ten per cent of all such delinquent tax collections of every
character collected by said city for the year 1904 and previous years
and one per cent of all such delinquent tax collections for the year
1905;and that all other contract or contracts heretofore made by said
city with me become null and void from the taking effect of this contract.

That I be authorized,empowered and directed to bring suits on all
delinquent taxes herein turned over to me for collection.
