Gentlemen

The Board of Equalization acting on the matter of taxes due by the Western Union Telegraph Company for the years 1901, 1902, 1903 and 1904 would respectfully report that we consider that a valuation of that Company's property for the purpose of taxation for the years names at $7500.00 each year would be a fair estimate in the Board's opinion.

The Company rendered it property for 1905 at $1000 which was assedd by the Board to $7500.00

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED RESIDENTS ON SAMUELS AVENUE AND ON GREER STREET, WHICH AVENUE ADN STREET ARE CONTIGUOUS TO THE SAID CITY OF FORT WORTH, RESPECTFULLY REQUEST YOUR HONORABLE BODY TO ALLOW US TO EXTEND ON SAID AVENUE & STREET THE TWO (2) INCH WATER AIN, RECENTLY LAID UNDER YOUR SUPERVISION TO NEAR THE CORNER OF SAID AVENUE AND GREER STREET, AND THAT YOU ALLOW US TO CONNECT OUR RESPECTIVE PROP ERTIES ON SAID AVENUE AND GREER STREET WITH SAID WATER MAIN, WHEN SO EXTENDED, WE TO PAY FOR THE COST OF SAID EXTENSION AND CONNECTIONS. AN D WE AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY OF FORT WORTH PERTAINING TO SAID MATTER.
