Fort Worth, Texas. 3/17/05.

To the Honorable Mayor and City Council, Ft. Worth, Texas.

Gentlemen:-

We have secured a contract from Mr. T. B. Ellison to erect an iron pipe hitch rack on the edge of the side-walk on the West side of his new building on the corner of 7th. and Throckmorton, beginning at a point opposite the North line of the building to extend South about 65' or 70'.

The hitch rack is to serve the double purpose of a protection to the plate glass windows in the building, against possible runaways, as well as a hitch rack proper.

We do not know of any objection that could be raised against our compliance with this contract, but to obviate the possibility of such we hereby petition your honorable body to grant us the privilege of completing this work.

Thanking you in advance for this action, we are,

Yours very respectfully, TEXAS ANCHOR FENCE CO. John E. Homan, Secretary

JEH-OR.
