To the Honorable Mayor & City Council.

Gentlemen:

Having temporarily removed
from the Sixth Ward and feeling that perhaps the people would
be better represented by some one who is all the time in the
Ward, I herewith tender my resignation as Alderman of the Sixth
Ward to take effect as soon as my successor is elected and
qualified.

In resigning, I desire to express to the
Mayor, Aldermen and Officers of the City Government, my thanks
for their uniform courtesy to me during the time I have been
in Office.
