JOHN B. HAWLEY,
CONSULTING ENGINEER,
MEMBER AMERICAN SOCIETY CIVIL ENGINEERS.
MEMBR ENGINEERING ASSOIATION OF THE SOUTH
MEMBER TEXAS ASSOCIATION CIVIL ENGINEERS.
CITY ENGINEERS, FORT WORTH

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, Sept 2nd 1904.

Hon. The Mayor & City Council,
Ft. Worth, Texas.

Gentlemen:

In the matter of improved Calaboose conditions, I have the honor
to report:

That after consultation with the Mayor and City Marshall, I am of
the opinion that a very good female ward can be made out of the present
Corporation Court Room, with all necessary new plumbing Ac., for about
$600.00. to $700.00.

The room at present occupied by City Electrician could e used as
Matron's Quarters if Electrician could be accommodated elsewhere, which
letter point I am unable to pass on.

Respectuflly,

John B Hawley.
City Engineer.
