Gentlemen.

For the year 1899 I gave in for taxation and
paid taxes on lot 8 block 147. city of Fort
Worth, while I should have given in and
paid on lot 10 block 147; both lots
were assessed at $300. For the same year
1899. one cynthian Edwards paid taxes
on lot 8 block 147, making double tax
on said lot. Lot 10 block 147, was
delinquent for 1899. and put on unknown
list through mistake of rendition. I res-
pectfully ask your honorable body to
make authorize Ass & Coll to make proper
entries on his books, so as to transfer
the money I paid on lot 8, to lot 10
block 147.
