Be it ordained resolved by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Tex-
as:

Section I. That hereafter no claim or demand against the City
of Fort Worth shall ever be allowed or paid unless said account is in
writing and shall specify the nature of and consideration for said
claim or demand, with the date thereof, and by what department of the
City Government shall claim was contracted, nor until an affidavit
shall be made by the person presenting said claim, to the effect that
said claim is just and true and that all lawful effects have been
allowed, which affidavit shall be subscribed by the claimant before some officer authorized to administer [others?] and filed
with the City Auditor

Sec.2. All claims or demands against the City of Fort Worth,af-
ter having been verified as provided in Section I, shall be approved
by the head of the department by which said account waa contracted
and by the Committee on Claims, before being allowed and ordered paid
by the City Council.
