To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Fort Worth. Gentlemen:

THE STATE OF TEXAS..:: :: COUNTY OF TARRANT..::

Before me, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared D. T. Bomar, who having been first duly sworn says that on or about the 20th day of September, 1899, he, acting for himself and R. H. Carter, purchased of L. R. Taylor twenty lots in Blocks 2 and 3 of Greenwood Subdivision of Evans S. Addition to Fort Worth, Texas, and paid therefor the sum of $1,000. That said lots are all good, smooth lots of the average value of lots generally in said addition, the greater parts of said Addition being practically of the same quality and character; that affiant is of the opinion that the price paid for said lots on said date was something less than their market value. That he believes that they were reasonably worth on said date about $75. per lot and are worth now from $100. to $125. per lot.

D. T. Bomar

Sworn to and subscribed before me on this 2nd day of January, A.D. 1903.

M.G.Denison, Notary Public in and for Tarrant County, Texas.
