Whereas, on the 7th day of Sept. 1900, a Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, authorizing the Mayor and City Sec. of said City to execute quit claim deeds to the formor owners (their heirs or assigns) of any and all real estate sold to the said City for taxes; upon the payment of all Taxes; interest and Court Parts due said City on said Land. And it was further provided in said resolution that the said Mayor and City Sec. might accept vendro lien notes as a part of the Consideration for the execution of said quit claim deeds, and

Wheras, no provision was made in the above mentioned resolution for releasing The Vendros lien retained in said quit claim deeds, upon the payment of said notes,

Now, Therefore, Resolved that the Mayor and City Sec, of said City be, and they are hereby authorized to execute proper releases of all vendors liens retained in said quit claim deeds to any and all pieces of Real estate conveyed by

Oct. 20, 1902. Hon. T. J. Powell, Mayor, Fort Worth, Texas.

Dear Sir:- I concur with Mr. John R. Darnell in asking to have warrants issued for all sums allowed me on city contracts on school house work as follows, to-wit: to J. J. Langever & Co. for $133.00. To J. G. Henderson for $60.00. To W. R. Francis for $122.28. To Darnell Lumber Co. for $522.00. To W. M. Peabody for $45.50. The balance to be issued to me.

The above specified amounts cover the entire balance owing to each of said parties for work and material furnished under my contracts with the city, and there are no other sums owing for work or material on said contracts or any of them.
