The state of Texas County of Tarrant Know all men by these presents, that I, E.S. Evans of the Country of Tarrant and State of Texas for and in consderation of the sum of $120 one hundred and twenty dollars to me in hand paid by the City of Fort Worth, the recipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold to the said City of Fort Worth one gray horse 8 years old about 16 hands high weight about 1300 pounds, and I hereby warrent and will forever defend the title to said horse.

Ray of Reno Parker County Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars ($130.00) to me in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain & sell to The City of Fort Worth One gray horse about 16 1/2 hands high eight years old weight about 1360 pounts and I hereby warrant and will forever defend the title to said horse agasint all claimants whatever.
