Whereas, on the 1st day of November, 1892, the property herein-
after described was sold by the tax collector of the city of Fort
Worth for the taxes Mrs. E.J.Daggett, for the year 1891, and the
city of Fort Worth to which said taxes was due became the purchaser
of said property, and whereas, on the 21st day of August, 1895, the
said Mrs. E.J.Daggett, settled and paid off said taxes together with
other taxes due by her to the city of Fort Worth; and whereas the
said city of Fort Worth acting through and by it's Mayor, Protem, S.M.
Frye executed a quit claim deed to Mrs. E.J.Daggett intending thereby
to release and convey back said property to Mrs. E.J.Daggett and her
assigns, but failed in said deed to include the property, hereinafter
described. Now, therefore for the consideration expressed, the said
city of Forth Worth hereby sells, conveys quit claims and releases unto
the said Mrs. E.J.Daggett and her assigns, and the present owners of
said property, all the right, title and interest which said city ac-
quired by virtue of said tax sale in and to said land and the tax
deed made in pursuance of the same.

Said property is described as follows: being part of Lot 4,
Block P.1. of Daggett's Addition to the city of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, more particularly described as follows: beginning on
Crump Street at a point, 25 ft. in a northerly direction from the inter
section of Crump Street and 17th Street, and being on the West line
of Crump Street. Thence northerly parallel with Crump Street 50 ft.
Thence west parallel with 17th street 95 ft. Thence Southerly parallel
with said Crump Street 50 ft. Thence easterly parallel with 17th St.
95 ft. to place of beginning containing 50 ft by 95 ft. in area.

To have and to hold all and singular the rights acquired by
said city of Fort Worth by reason of said tax sale unto her the said
E.J.Daggett, and her assigns, including the present owner or owners
of the same. Witness the name of the city of Fort Worth hereunto af-
fixed together with the seal of said city by the Mayor, on this the
------day of November, 1902.
